Vayomitra

Vayomitra, through its initiative “Embracing the Golden Years,” envisions old age not as retirement but as the beginning of a new phase in life. This project is dedicated to locating and aiding elderly individuals experiencing isolation and challenges within their communities. The initiative is committed to providing essential help and financial assistance, foster a conducive living environment for those aged 60 and above. The mission of the project is to offer care and protection to the elderly without discrimination based on caste, religion, colour or gender. This project addresses the diverse needs of elderly individuals dealing with social isolation, financial hardships, and health challenges. The project ensures financial security, fosters a supportive environment for physical and mental well-being and provides engaging activities in arts, literature, music, and more.

The project majorly focuses on economically disadvantaged, retired, bedridden or individuals who have made significant life sacrifices. This aims to challenge public perceptions about the elderly, creating a compassionate and inclusive society for all.
